THE RELATIONSHIP OF SOCIAL SUPPORT WITH THE DEGREE OF NAUSEA AND VOMITING IN PREGNANCY

Abstract Background : At the beginning of a pregnancy mother experiences various processes transition or adaptation regarding changes in herself, so that she really needs support from her environment. Lack social can worsen physiological complaints pregnant women including Nausea and Vomiting Pregnancy (NVP). Complaints nausea vomiting affect carrying out daily activities, mother's situation with environment cause stress. Therefore, it is important to research relationship between degree first second-trimester women. Method This method observational analytic cross sectional design. Sampling used total sampling criteria who had vomiting. Collecting data using primary 24-hour PUQE questionnaire measures duration frequency MSPSS measuring support. The collected were analyzed Spearman test (p<0.15). Results Out 47 respondents, 34 (72.3%) received high Besides that, 24 respondents (51.1%) experienced moderate NVP. In this study, there no severe analysis results obtained p= 0.833 p>0.15. Conclusion There NVP second trimester pregnancy.
